Goat Races Proceeds To Construct Sanitary Toilet

The Royal Ascot Goat Races is teaming up with the Ruparelia Foundation to undertake an Eco Brick CSR project to build sanitary toilets aimed at improving sanitation at the Good Samaritan High School in Kamwokya. “This year, we will be supporting Good Samaritan Primary School through the Ghetto Research Lab to construct a sanitary toilet in their endeavour to keep the environment clean and create employment opportunities,” they said in a statement. UNBS Closes Sachet-filling Machines From Over 30 Companies

As a measure to enforce the government ban on alcohol sold in sachets, the Uganda National Bureau of Standards has closed over 167 sachet-filling machines belonging to at least 37 alcohol-manufacturing companies. The operation was conducted in Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono, Jinja and Mitiyana.
