Victoria University Kampala Students under the Faculty of Health Sciences are set to benefit from the recently instituted Dr Sudhir Ruparelia Scholarship Grant in an effort to promote health related education in the country.
Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, the proprietor of Victoria University, recently announced that he will 30 percent of tuition fees to lucky students at the Jinja Road University. It has now been known that the Faculty of Health Sciences will benefit just like all other faculties.
Health sciences courses are some of the most expensive in the country. This hinders many aspiring from pursuing their dreams but now with this subsidy, students can join Victoria University and benefit from Dr. Ruparelia generosity.
Victoria University is an Institution of higher learning licensed by National Council for Higher Education. To qualify for the Dr Sudhir Ruparelia Scholarship Grant, a candidate must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years, a Ugandan and poses good matric results.
The candidate must also portray positive attitude, provide references, willing to give back to the community and able to maintain a GPA of minimum 3.5 throughout the program.
The application process includes filling and submitting an online or offline application and filling the Scholarship form to show interest and confirm that you fulfill the criteria. Thereafter, after reviewing your application, the scholarship committee will offer the scholarship to successful candidates.
