Businessman Patrick Bitature, the founder, chairman & CEO at Simba Group East Africa, has been appointed a board member of Mulago National Referral Hospital.
In his acceptance message, Bitature said he will be drawing upon ‘my business experience to find solutions that will make Mulago a better national referral hospital.
“The last few years have reminded us just how important the health sector is but it has also shown us just how many problems our health sector has,” Bitature said.
Adding: “A majority of these problems can be solved using a business solutions approach,”
“It is my hope that the knowledge I've acquired in my business journey will help provide business-oriented solutions that will improve the health sector for all,”
An upbeat Bitature reveals that he will also rely on his experience as a board member for Cure Hospital ‘to contribute to the health sector and serve my country accordingly for the next three years.’
